Introduction into Aqua Systems
Impey Aqua Systems are designed to allow the simple and cost effective creation of a wetroom.
In order for a wetroom to
function correctly there are 3 main areas for consideration:
Gradient
The floor of the shower area needs
to have sufficient gradient to allow
the water to drain away without
forming puddles.
Drainage
The choice of drainage system must suit your particular circumstances – i.e. gravity or pumped drainage.
Waterproofing
A wetroom must be securely waterproofed or ‘tanked’ to prevent unwanted leaks.
